Missing Etika
Behind the door, Etika could catch the murmur fade away. She might be ignorant about the scene played behind the door, though she understood that no words could justify what those people acted out upon whomever the victims there. Vaguely, Etika felt the constant pains emerged then receded as if it had never happened.
Then, the next day Etika found that the door was opened by the breeze. She curiously stepped into the room and saw so many blood on the wall and on the floor. She blinked. Her mouth was opened and her body felt so chilled.
"You know that curiousity may kill the cat". Etika heard a voice but then darkness blanketed her.
Bees looked down the pale face in his lap. He never thought he would find his worker standing in the middle of his room, then falling into the floor like a weak leaf. His gaze fell upon the woman's face. He felt a bit relieved to feel the soft breathing on her nose. Swiftly, he raised into his feet and put the woman into his arms. He decided to bring her into his office than health care unit in the second floor. He did not want other employees to see her like this. Beside, he needed to know why she was fainted or why she came into his office. He was afraid about something that might happen. He frowned, he knew something was not right.
He sighed heavily when he saw Etika stirred from her unconcious state. He felt his breathing and realized how he held his breath. Slowly, he put his arm behind Etika's head, carefully helped her drinking the water using the straw.
"Shh..easy, there.." He smiled and brush the tendril of her hair.
"My veil.."
"Ohh..so sorry.." He carefully put her veil on her head. "You were fainted and I unfastened your veil.." His face reddened. Etika looked at the man in front of her. He, abruptly stepped back. His sudden movement made his body staggered. If Etika did not feel lightheaded, she must be laught at him. Etika frowned and tried to remember why she was here.
" Ehmm.. Run, where am I?" His brow raised and Etika felt her face warmed
She called his boss by his nickname!
"Run?" He came by the bed.
"I mean, where am I, sir?"
He smiled again. "Sir? I am not Run or Sir for you."
"Okey. Mr. Suripto." Erika said mockingly.
Run laughed and walked into the door. "I like seeing you more. But, I have other thing to do."
